Lavender Season on Castle Farm is the highlight of the summer months. The Lavender fields bloom from late June to late July, when visitors can enjoy a vareity of events and experiences in the fields.
Tickets and events for next Lavender Season will go on sale Early May 2025 (exact date TBC). If you wish to purchase field events to gift ahead of when tickets open, please look at our LAVENDER EXPERIENCES which can be gifted now, and then redeemed when event dates are released!
GUIDED LAVENDER &
DISTILLERY TOUR

Join us to experience an unrivaled insight into our Lavender farm. Come behind the scenes with a Castle Farm tour guide and learn about the varieties we grow and see how the oil is extracted in our onsite distillery.Tours last approx 1hr 15mins.

LAVENDER BYO PICNICS

Bring Your Own Picnic and set up in our spectacular Ladybird Lavender Field. Take in the scent of this spectacular Lavender variety - unique to Castle Farm over a 2.5 hour event. Marquee shade / shelter provided. Wander the rows, take lovely photos and relax! Sorry - no dogs.

LAVENDER FIELD WALKS
NEXT EVENTS JUNE 2025
Join us in our Folgate Lavender Field and get a photo on the magnificent Lavender Bench. Wander amongst millions of fragrant flowers, and take in the beautiful views accross the Darenth Valley (5 acre field).Recommended time 1 hour.Dogs welcome on Lavender Walk events.

LAVENDER WREATH WORKSHOPS
JUNE 2025
Spend a relaxing morning or afternoon creating a beautiful heart shaped wreath of fragrant Lavender, freshly cut from our fields at Castle Farm. Workshop last approx 2hr 30mins.Sorry - no dogs.

GUIDED BREATHWORK CLASS IN THE LAVENDER
JULY 2025
Learn how to breathe - properly - in the calm, sweet-scented surroundings of our lavender fields. Release tension, quieten your mind and improve sleep, all through the power of your breath. Classes last 45mins & include access to the Lavender Field Walks session prior. Sorry - no dogs.
Adults: £24.50 per session.
THE LAVENDER BARN
LATE JUNE 2025
Explore our Lavender Barn, filled with Lavender products, local seasonal fruit, fresh Lavender bunches and decorations. Ask the team about all our toieltries and learn about the different Lavender Oils we produce.
No tickets needed: Free
The Farm Shop is open Tuesday - Sunday throughout the year (closed on Mondays), offering farm foods, Lavender products, gifts, decorations and seasonal produce. Awarded Small Farm Shop of the Year 2025 by the Farm Retail Association.

Our Coffee Cart will be open by the farm shop, serving barrista coffee and hot drinks, cold drinks, ice creams and snacks.
Complimentry Car Parking on site at Castle Farm is provided for pre-booked, ticketed Lavender Picnic and Lavender Walks and Guided Lavender Tour events.Please park at the Lullingstone Park Visitor Centre if you wish to walk the valley or require picnic facilities and toilets.
Of course, during season, if you do not wish to go right into the fields, you can enjoy the view and scent of the Lavender Fields when you walk the Darenth Valley Footpath.
There will be a famous Castle Farm Lavender bench in both our Picnics and Walks fields!
Fresh Lavender bunches are available late June to late July. Dried Lavender is availbale all year round.
We supply all your need to make a beautiful Lavender Wreath under a marquee amidst the beauty of the Lavender fields.
